support@nextpcb.comNextPCB is excited to introduce Raspberry Pi's RP2354 microcontroller to the NextPCB Accelerator campaign. Through NextPCB Accelerator, eager designers can start building prototypes with the yet unreleased silicon ahead of the crowd and NextPCB will even build them for free.
RP2354A and RP2354B are the 2MB stacked flash variants of the RP2350 that was released in 2024 in the form of the Pico 2, and became available from authorized Raspberry Pi resellers in early 2025. The revolutionary successor to Raspberry Pi’s debut and highly popular MCU, the RP2040, the RP2350 and RP2354 continue the low-cost, high-performance characteristics that took the embedded community by storm and challenged the likes of STM32, SAMD21 and ESP32 in the 32-bit MCU race.
The RP2350 series is a significant and sizeable upgrade in almost every aspect, with greater performance thanks to the improved clock speed, nearly double the on-board memory, up to 48 GPIO pins, 12 state machines, the choice of two architectures and expanded security and peripheral options. The price point has not changed, however, maintaining the same low-cost profile that made the original especially popular with makers and industries alike. For size-constrained applications, RP2354’s stacked memory makes Raspberry Pi’s silicon offering even more competitive in the MCU space, enabling even more applications and projects.
